Fall Fun Blog Hop!

 Here's my card for today:

When I think of fall, I think of leaves.  So instead of having a huge image on my card, I thought I'd go with leaves!  I prepared the the leaves in much the same way I prepared them for this layout.  All the leaves are cut out with the Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Leaves Die and then run through the Tim Holtz Sizzix Cracked Texture Fade.  The cardstock is Core-dinations so I sanded it as much as I dared before a major spritzing of Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist.  There are also some canvas leaves in there.  Those I did a little differently.  I didn't emboss them, but inked them lightly with SU's Chocolate Chip Ink.  Then I spritzed them with Tattered Angels Suede Glimmer Mist.  While all of the leaves were wet, I encouraged them to curl up like real dried leaves do.  I had to curl them a few times to get them to stay.  I then finished things off with ribbons, thread and a button!
